YMCA Family Night FAQs

How may I purchase tickets?

  • Tickets may be purchased online here.

Who can attend this event?

  • Anyone in your family, team or Adventure Guide tribe, whether a YMCA member or non-member, can attend with purchase of a ticket.  Event programming and activities are planned around grades K-3, but kids outside this range are welcome!

What should we wear?

  • Dress for fun! Wear comfortable clothes and shoes suitable for running, climbing, dancing and other outdoor activities.

What should we bring?

  • Seating essentials include a cozy blanket or folding chairs, if you'd like. Park bistro tables and chairs will also be available.

What activities will be provided? 

  • A full schedule of activities will be shared soon, but for now, think DJ, dance party, glow bubbles, field games, prizes, dinner and having Klyde Warren Park to all to yourself!

Will there be adult-only spaces or activities?

  • Nope! This event is all about kids and families. Alcohol is not permitted.

Where should we park?

  • Covered and well-lit parking is available at Plaza of the Americas (just two blocks away from Klyde Warren Park) for $6, and must be pre-purchased here or in the widget below.  Signage will lead you to the park.  

  • Additionally, valet parking at Mi Cocina on the Park is available for $15 per car for extra convenience.  

What if we arrive late?

  • No worries! You’re welcome to join in the fun, activities and dinner whenever you arrive.

What is for dinner and are dietary accommodations available?

  • A Raising Cane’s chicken tender basket is included with each ticket. Vegetarian options will be provided. Please contact James Durham (james@klydewarrenpark.org) in advance if you have any specific dietary needs. Kroger will provide fruit, cookies and bottled water.

Can we bring our own food or drinks?

  • Outside food and drinks are not allowed—we’ll provide it for you!

What safety precautions are in place?

  • The event will take place in a fenced and secure area, with Klyde Warren Park security on-site. An EMT will be available for first aid needs. 

What happens if a child gets separated from their chaperone?

  • If a child gets separated, they will be brought to the DJ stage, where staff will be ready to help reunite them with their chaperone.

What is the cancellation/refund policy?

  • Since this is a fundraiser for Klyde Warren Park and the YMCA, ticket purchases are considered donations and are non-refundable.

What if it rains?

  • In case of inclement weather, tickets will be honored on our rain date: Saturday, May 3, 2025, 6-10 PM
