Holiday Block Printing: What better way to give a gift than with your own handmade cards and wrapping paper? Come get your hands (a little) messy with block printing — using inked stamps to create pretty patterns for those you love!

About Your Artists:

Lane Lowe is a creative entrepreneur. She's spent the last 20 years creating and teaching — from crafts to classrooms to companies. A former elementary school teacher, she enjoys teaching kids about how to be artists and entrepreneurs!

Sally Ackerman is a local fibers artist, also known by her knit bombing name, K Witta. She has worked with her knitting group, the Knit Wits, to beautiful or 'bomb' notable places around town. She will be facilitating a fibers art-making activity inspired by Thanksgiving. Get ready for the season of gratitude and harvest by creating a braided yarn doll!

Benjamin Muñoz is a Dallas based artist whose primary focus is printmaking and painting. His work is often reflective of his heritage, upbringing, and current surroundings. Ben will be facilitating a printmaking activity where people can their own prints using inked and carved wood blocks. Participants can choose from a variety of different subject matter related to the fall season as well as flora and fauna
