Set List on the Green Presented by The Muse Family Foundation

DALLAS, TEXAS (May 23, 2018) – Continuing its mission to supply the fun Klyde Warren Park, in partnership with The Muse Family Foundation, launches Set List on the Green, a monthly concert series. Set List on the Green is an expansion of the park’s current weekly concert series, Music Thursdays, which highlights music from a specific genre each month all performed by local Texas artists. The series kicks off with a jazz performance by Dallas’ own Funky Knuckles on Thursday, May 31.

“Live musical performances are some of Klyde Warren Park’s most popular events and we are very grateful to The Muse Family Foundation for helping us expand this widely-enjoyed area of programming,” said Kit Sawyers, President of Klyde Warren Park, who joined the Klyde Warren Park executive team in April. “This concert is especially exciting for me as I start my new role and work to grow the already impressive level of community programming the park offers.”

Set List on the Green performances include:

  • Thursday, May 31 – Focus on Jazz, featuring The Funky Knuckles
  • Thursday, June 28 – Focus on Rock/Pop
  • Thursday, September 20 – Focus on Indie/Folk
  • Thursday, October 28 – Focus on Country

“The Muse Family Foundation is proud to support Set List on the Green,” said John Muse, Chairman of The Muse Family Foundation. “We believe in the power of community, and love to celebrate our city’s diversity, talent and connection through music. We are proud to support local musicians and provide a convening for our community to come together.”

Each Set List on the Green performance will be from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. and is free and open to the public. Students from renowned performing arts high school, Booker T.
